Real Imirim EC's Claudinho Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Calango Feio's zone, Dedê Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori França came out of the goal and Dedê Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fiori França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Dantas in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedê Dantas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fiori França prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tales Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Braga having to interfere. Reinaldo de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Fiori França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Zanette in the 36th minute of the match. When Real Imirim EC's Claudinho Zanette in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calango Feio's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Dantas in the 38th minute of play forced Calango Feio's goalkeeper Fiori França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Calango Feio's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Dantas came free, but Fiori França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Mauro Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dedê Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dedê Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Calango Feio defense, Dedê Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fiori França. The Calango Feio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fiori França should have stopped the shot. In the 55th minute, Mauro Jacinto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dedê Dantas in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fiori França, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 57thth minute of the game Dedê Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calango Feio's Fiori França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Calango Feio's Fiori França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Calango Feio from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Real Imirim EC booed when Calango Feio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedê Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Real Imirim EC's Mauro Jacinto in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dedê Dantas kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 81stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Calango Feio's keeper Fiori França was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Mauro Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diamantino Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvinho Lopes's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 90th match minute, Real Imirim EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Dedê Dantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fiori França having to make a save. Real Imirim EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
