Germano Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ivape getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Germano Meireles hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Ronaldo Fantini got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 16th match minute, Florianopolis Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Sá to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Walmir Arruda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florianopolis Fc's Kauan Aparecido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Murilo de Souza struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Enio Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florianopolis Fc. After a rather tough play, Florianopolis Fc's Michel Sá got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ronaldo Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Walmir Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Valle in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Florianopolis Fc's Felipe Botelho got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Florianopolis Fc's zone, Walmir Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauan Aparecido came out of the goal and Walmir Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ronaldo Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipe Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Enio Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Fantini to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Walmir Arruda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kauan Aparecido. That made the score 0-2 in the 84 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Florianopolis Fc's zone, Walmir Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauan Aparecido came out of the goal and Walmir Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Walmir Arruda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kauan Aparecido, passed just outside the right post. The Florianopolis Fc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ivape's performance. The match ended with a win for Ivape.
