After 17 minutes of play, Tapuirama fc's Armandinho Mendes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tapuirama fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Ducks Sport Club the free kick. Tapuirama fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Tapuirama fc booed when The Ducks Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tapuirama fc's Armandinho Mendes managed to work through The Ducks Sport Club's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Armandinho Mendes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After having played for 95 minutes, César Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Ducks Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tapuirama fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
