Mauro Jacinto hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Claudinho Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Tapuirama fc's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Dantas came free, but Gerson Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes, Armandinho Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapuirama fc and the Real Imirim EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Real Imirim EC booed when Tapuirama fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armandinho Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinho Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Real Imirim EC's Dedê Dantas in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tapuirama fc's goalie prevented a goal. Real Imirim EC's Dedê Dantas managed to work through Tapuirama fc's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Dedê Dantas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Felippe Vaz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Gerson Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Imirim EC. Dedê Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Araújo having to interfere. Dedê Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gerson Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmyr Pires took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerson Araújo. Gerson Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gerson Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Dantas in the 40th minute of the match. If Walmyr Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Real Imirim EC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mauro Jacinto hit a great ball. When Armandinho Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tapuirama fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armandinho Mendes couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dedê Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gerson Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedê Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gerson Araújo made a huge save. Giovanni do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovanni do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Giovanni do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Real Imirim EC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mauro Jacinto hit a great ball. Tapuirama fc's Luís Paulo Motta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Real Imirim EC. In the 72nd minute, Tapuirama fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dedê Dantas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Claudinho Zanette dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gerson Araújo, 1-2. After 77th play minutes Dedê Dantas shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Gerson Araújo and just under the crossbar into goal. Dedê Dantas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gerson Araújo firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Real Imirim EC booed when Tapuirama fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Tepedino in the 93rd minute of play forced Real Imirim EC's goalkeeper Diamantino Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Armandinho Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Real Imirim EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tapuirama fc.
