FC's Giovanni Matos got control of the ball when Dedê Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, BERTHOLDO. FC's Zeca Lopez got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Alfredão Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the BERTHOLDO. FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredão Queiroz couldn't finish the play. Alfredão Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Dedê Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Imirim EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedê Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeca Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Braga having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umberto Bastos during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, BERTHOLDO. FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Bastos to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Real Imirim EC's Dedê Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovanni Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Zeca Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BERTHOLDO. FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

BERTHOLDO. FC's Giovanni Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Dantas in the 51st minute of play. Alfredão Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Diamantino Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zeca Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Mauro Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alfredão Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the BERTHOLDO. FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredão Queiroz couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Claudinho Zanette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovanni Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of BERTHOLDO. FC booed when Real Imirim EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, BERTHOLDO. FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Zanette in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Real Imirim EC's Dedê Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni Matos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Claudinho Zanette scored 4-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovanni Matos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st match minute, Real Imirim EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Tróia to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Alfredão Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Real Imirim EC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
