In the 35th minute José Paulo Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, CHUTE NO SACO F.C.'s Eliézer Brodel threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Paulo Fontes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 40 minutes into the match, Chapadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Fontes came free, but Eliézer Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio da Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Tadeu Aparecido to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmo Vasconcelos during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Dalmo Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chapadas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
