Spectators: 7091 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armandinho Mendes started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Tepedino in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruninho Paraense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruninho Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Mendes in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Tapuirama fc's goalkeeper Gerson Araújo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino Ramalho. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo Marinho in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerson Araújo saved Tapuirama fc from getting behind. In the 13th match minute, Tapuirama fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Bruninho Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Mendes in the 16th minute of play. Gino Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Gabriel Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Gabriel Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tapuirama fc booed when Sanfogo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Marinho in the 32nd minute of play forced Tapuirama fc's goalkeeper Gerson Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerson Araújo having to make a save. Gerson Araújo made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Tiago Gabriel Freitas sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Murillo Marinho made the kick off in the second half. Gino Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerson Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. If Murillo Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, Tapuirama fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Alan Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Gino Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Armandinho Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Gino Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanfogo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gino Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerson Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 played minutes Tapuirama fc got a freekick which was hit by Natã Brito. If Gino Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 78 minutes, Armandinho Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapuirama fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armandinho Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Luís Paulo Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Bueno, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tapuirama fc's Gerson Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Vidal in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Sanfogo booed when Tapuirama fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Yan Lucas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanfogo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapuirama fc the free kick. Sanfogo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tapuirama fc for a fine match.
