Gustavo Cunha struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Diamantino Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragon Ball Z. After a rather tough play, Dragon Ball Z's Sterling Acevedo got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedê Dantas got free with Oswald Mahler in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dedê Dantas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oswald Mahler firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 37th minute of the game, Walmyr Pires landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 42 minutes of play, Real Imirim EC's Wilian Gaúcho made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oswald Mahler was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Oswald Mahler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Dantas in the 74th minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Gustavo Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragon Ball Z and the Real Imirim EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Real Imirim EC's zone, Gustavo Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Braga came out of the goal and Gustavo Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dedê Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Real Imirim EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedê Dantas couldn't finish the play. Dedê Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswald Mahler having to interfere. Oswald Mahler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Dantas in the 95th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
