The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Túlio Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswald Mahler having to interfere. Gustavo Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Tadeu Aparecido made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Adelino Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragon Ball Z's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeu Aparecido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the game, Hortêncio Eger lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Tadeu Aparecido. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gustavo Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragon Ball Z's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeu Aparecido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Hortêncio Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, CHUTE NO SACO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio de Souza to maneuver through the defense. If Túlio Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeu Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Hortêncio Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oswald Mahler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Cunha got free with Tadeu Aparecido in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Paulo Fontes was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Túlio Passos got free with Oswald Mahler in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Hortêncio Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Cunha struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Tadeu Aparecido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragon Ball Z. Túlio Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Hortêncio Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match, José Paulo Fontes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oswald Mahler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hortêncio Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Túlio Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Gláuber Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragon Ball Z's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CHUTE NO SACO F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Dragon Ball Z getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gláuber Santana hit a great ball. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dragon Ball Z's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelo Hermes was slow to take the kick. During this time CHUTE NO SACO F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Marcelo Hermes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dragon Ball Z's Oswald Mahler did a great save. Dragon Ball Z's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
