When Vânderson Arce fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapadas FC's protests and gave Vânderson Arce a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Chapadas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Arce to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Florianopolis Fc's Fausto Pontes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Valério Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Brodel having to interfere. Florianopolis Fc's Ronaldo Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Beto Linares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauan Aparecido was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Valério Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valério Toledo was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Hortêncio da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Valério Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Valério Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Valério Toledo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Beto Linares charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beto Linares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Ronaldo Fantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florianopolis Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When the final whistle sounded Florianopolis Fc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chapadas FC.
