After having played for 5 minutes, Alfredão Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BERTHOLDO. Giovanni Matos made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Hortêncio da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Zeca Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliézer Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Umberto Bastos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chapadas FC's Eliézer Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Queiroz in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Hortêncio da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Percy Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BERTHOLDO. The supporters of Chapadas FC booed when BERTHOLDO. FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Chapadas FC's Eliézer Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Machado in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Zeca Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hortêncio da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Paulo Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Zeca Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eliézer Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Hortêncio da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredão Queiroz scored 0-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliézer Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
