ClubeX001's Ulysses Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Zé Pedro Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glauco Proença was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After having played for 20 minutes, Luiz Guilherme de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ClubeX001's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Guilherme de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Zé Pedro Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Glauco Proença. ClubeX001's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 33 played minutes ClubeX001 got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Couto. A collision led to ClubeX001 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ulysses Quadros hit a great ball. Magno Passos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Tacare's Sandrinho Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Quadros in the 44th minute of play. ClubeX001's Luisinho Lopes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Dantas to make the kick off. Glauco Proença made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Wesley Zanette sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Tacare's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Quadros came free, but Sandrinho Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tacare's Sandrinho Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme de Salles in the 63rd minute of play. Sandrinho Cunha came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by ClubeX001's Ulysses Quadros. But to his dismay, Ulysses Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 73rd match minute, Tacare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Pedro Dantas to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Ulysses Quadros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandrinho Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Rafinha Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 88 in the game by Magno Passos from a close distance when the talented Glauco Proença managed to make a qualified save. ClubeX001's players were relieved. Magno Passos made a great header on Tacare's corner, it was just that ClubeX001's Glauco Proença managed to reach the ball for a save. Ulysses Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ClubeX001's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
