The supporters of S.C.Canastra Paulista booed when Corupá Buffalos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Naldo Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C.Canastra Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Corupá Buffalos F.C booed when S.C.Canastra Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes S.C.Canastra Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Netto. After having played for 20 minutes, Jerônimo de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corupá Buffalos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerônimo de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Corupá Buffalos F.C's goalkeeper Cipriano Mangueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurício Netto. In the 25th minute, Reynaldo Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, S.C.Canastra Paulista's Maurício Netto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cipriano Mangueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Jerônimo de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Corupá Buffalos F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo de Godoi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 34 minutes, Tostão Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C.Canastra Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tostão Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Maurício Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of S.C.Canastra Paulista booed when Corupá Buffalos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. S.C.Canastra Paulista's Betão Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo de Godoi in the 41st minute of play. If Frederico Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerônimo de Godoi was the one to do the kick off. Tostão Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Carneiro in the 64th minute of play. Tostão Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match Jerônimo de Godoi climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Betão Sá. After a defensive mix-up in S.C.Canastra Paulista's zone, Jerônimo de Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Sá came out of the goal and Jerônimo de Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corupá Buffalos F.C's Jerônimo de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gil Borges hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Gil Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corupá Buffalos F.C's Cipriano Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Carneiro in the 90th minute of play. Frederico Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Mangueira having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Carlos Fernando Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of S.C.Canastra Paulista booed when Corupá Buffalos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
