Sandrinho Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês do Nascimento in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Tacare's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Castro came free, but Sandrinho Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês do Nascimento in the 13th minute of the match. Zé Pedro Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tacare's Sandrinho Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês do Nascimento in the 16th minute of play. Zé Carlos Pimenta lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 17 minutes into the game, one of Tacare:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Juarês do Nascimento walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Sandrinho Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês do Nascimento in the 26th minute of the match. When Timéko FC's Juarês do Nascimento, in the 27th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Timéko FC. With a little luck, Tacare's Sandrinho Cunha got control of the ball when Glauco Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timéko FC's Vladimiro Eleder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Zanette in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute Wesley Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Eleder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Tullio in the 39th minute of play forced Tacare's goalkeeper Sandrinho Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandrinho Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês do Nascimento in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nelsinho Souza to make the kick off. Magno Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. José Maria de Queirós's late challenge caught a Timéko FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Maria de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Tacare got a freekick which was hit by José Maria de Queirós. After 61 played minutes Timéko FC got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Breckenfeld. Tacare's Wesley Zanette suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Gláuber Breckenfeld fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timéko FC's protests and gave Gláuber Breckenfeld a yellow card for diving instead. Gláuber Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Magno Passos got in the 66th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Vladimiro Eleder and thus it was 1-1. Juarês do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sandrinho Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruy Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruy Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruy Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Timéko FC booed when Tacare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Timéko FC's Nelsinho Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandrinho Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 80th minute, Magno Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Souza in the 83rd minute of play forced Tacare's goalkeeper Sandrinho Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Tacare got a freekick which was hit by Magno Passos. After a rather tough play, Tacare's Cícero da Fonseca got a free kick in the 88th minute. Rafinha Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes of play, Timéko FC's Juarês do Nascimento made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandrinho Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Timéko FC had played much better football throughout.
