The supporters of Meriti booed when ClubeX001 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ClubeX001's zone, Dino Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Proença came out of the goal and Dino Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glauco Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Ulysses Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ClubeX001 were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Meriti's much stronger midfield.
