Ulysses Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Mangueira having to interfere. After 4 minutes, Léo Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ClubeX001 and the Corupá Buffalos F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Léo Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Corupá Buffalos F.C booed when ClubeX001 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jerônimo de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Mangueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulysses Quadros went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Felippe Antunes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ulysses Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cipriano Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Jerônimo de Godoi put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Glauco Proença. Glauco Proença made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerônimo de Godoi in the 48th minute. After the first half ClubeX001 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulysses Quadros made a kick off. When Ulysses Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the ClubeX001 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysses Quadros couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Ulysses Quadros took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Cipriano Mangueira to make any attempt to save it. 70 minutes into the game, Ulysses Quadros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cipriano Mangueira. Ulysses Quadros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Cipriano Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysses Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ulysses Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Mangueira having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, ClubeX001 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme de Salles to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Corupá Buffalos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Quadros came free, but Cipriano Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulysses Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Luiz Guilherme de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo de Godoi in the 96th minute of play forced ClubeX001's goalkeeper Glauco Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ClubeX001 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
