Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 100) A collision led to Meriti getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Elias Cosme hit a great ball. Maurício Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Téo Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Meriti's Elias Cosme got a free kick in the 9th minute. Téo Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute of the match Ediberto Siqueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Téo Rezende skillfully saved the ball. When Angelo Valle fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crystalina's protests and gave Angelo Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Angelo Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Téo Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Madureira in the 20th minute of the match. Téo Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raí Madureira's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Adhemar Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anderson Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Victor Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dino Urbano's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Dino Urbanos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Anderson Vale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dino Urbano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anderson Vale having to make a save. Meriti's Téo Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Reis in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Benê Barbosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Téo Rezende showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dino Urbano made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Maurício Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crystalina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meriti the free kick. The supporters of Meriti booed when Crystalina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cleiton Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meriti's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleiton Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anderson Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Medeiros hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Anderson Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Urbano in the 65th minute of play. Elias Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Urbano in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anderson Vale saved Crystalina from getting behind. Cleiton Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Vale having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dino Urbano in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anderson Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Elias Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meriti's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anderson Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Crystalina's Natã Pitta got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th match minute, Crystalina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Anderson Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Urbano in the 84th minute of play. In the 91st minute Dino Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Urbano struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Anderson Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meriti. Crystalina succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Meriti had controlled the match.
