With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fiori Cruz in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorginho Félix saved VIAMÃO F.C. from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in VIAMÃO F.C.'s zone, Elói Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorginho Félix came out of the goal and Elói Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorginho Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiori Cruz in the 42nd minute of play. Zé Roberto Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Roberto Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. VIAMÃO F.C.'s Jorginho Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Cruz in the 44th minute of play. The Indaial Rosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamim Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorginho Félix didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Indaial Rosa's Fiori Cruz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. 55 minutes into the match, VIAMÃO F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorginho Félix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Figueiredo. Fiori Cruz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Jorginho Félix skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jorginho Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Munhoz in the 92nd minute of the match. Fiori Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Adelino Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Indaial Rosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorginho Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
