After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Adelino Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Indaial Rosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisão Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeu Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Messias having to interfere. Fiori Cruzs short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Luisão Messias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fiori Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Luisão Messias made a huge save. In the 16th match minute, São Paulo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Indaial Rosa's Fiori Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adelino Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisão Messias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adelino Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th match minute, São Paulo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Donato to maneuver through the defense. Luisão Messias was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adelino Figueiredo. Fiori Cruz in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luisão Messias, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Fiori Cruz sped through São Paulo F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisão Messias. The Indaial Rosa fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Indaial Rosa's Fiori Cruz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Luisão Messias managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Indaial Rosa's Fiori Cruz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Frank Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Luisão Messias made a huge save. Adelino Figueiredo's late challenge caught a São Paulo F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Donato to make the kick off. When Adelino Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Indaial Rosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Fiori Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisão Messias was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Fiori Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Jean Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Donato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Breno Custódio having to make a save. In the 71st minute, Fiori Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Indaial Rosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Romeu Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, São Paulo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Marquez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Cruz in the 78th minute of play forced São Paulo F.C's goalkeeper Luisão Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Luisão Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fiori Cruz's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind São Paulo F.C's goalkeeper Luisão Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fiori Cruz in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisão Messias saved São Paulo F.C from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Cruz came free, but Luisão Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Romeu Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiori Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Figueiredo in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisão Messias saved São Paulo F.C from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Fiori Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisão Messias. São Paulo F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fiori Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Indaial Rosa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
