Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Telmo Correia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Telmo Correia came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Barreirinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telmo Correia couldn't finish the play. If Aloísio Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telmo Correia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdemar Koehler came out and tried to block the shot, but Telmo Correia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Barreirinha FC's Telmo Correia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Zé Roberto Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Roberto Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Jacu got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Neto. Gilmar Bertassi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Faustão Vergílio came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Barreirinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustão Vergílio couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Barreirinha FC's Faustão Vergílio in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jacu's goalie prevented a goal. Zé Roberto Neto got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 57 played minutes Jacu got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Neto. Barreirinha FC's Telmo Correia managed to work through Jacu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Telmo Correia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustão Vergílio in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Koehler saved Jacu from getting behind. Sidney de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Koehler having to interfere. If Faustão Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 71 minutes of play, Barreirinha FC's Telmo Correia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemar Koehler was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th match minute, Barreirinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Barreirinha FC's Lance Porter got control of the ball when Aloísio Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Faustão Vergílio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Valdemar Koehler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute Faustão Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Vergílio scored 5-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdemar Koehler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
