Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osmar Santos kicked off to start the match. The referee ignored Esporte Clube Comercial's protests and gave Osmar Santos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Osmar Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mümin Oral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Boludos's supporters rose to their feet, but Mümin Oral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esporte Clube Comercial's Belmiro Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mümin Oral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mümin Oral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardinho Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Mümin Oral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ricardinho Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Hökkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mattias Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Gaspar having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mümin Oral in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardinho Gaspar saved Esporte Clube Comercial from getting behind. When Mattias Hökkvist came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Atlético Boludos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Hökkvist couldn't finish the play. After having played for 31 minutes, Mümin Oral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Boludos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mümin Oral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esporte Clube Comercial's Ricardinho Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Hökkvist in the 33rd minute of play. Mümin Oral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esporte Clube Comercial's Ricardinho Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mümin Oral in the 43rd minute of play. If Válter Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Sarmento during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Válter Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattias Hökkvist was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luisinho Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. The Esporte Clube Comercial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardinho Gaspar should have stopped the shot. Atlético Boludos's Luisinho Tepedino got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atlético Boludos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
