Jacu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kauan de Amorim ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Kauan de Amorim almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jacu's Valdemar Koehler did a great save. Matheus Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Valdemar Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Goiano in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Jacu got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Barral. In the 16th minute, Matheus Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdemar Koehler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Wilian Goiano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to A.J. City getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Emílio Negri hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Jacu's Ediberto Amaral broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Valdemar Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, A.J. City's Wilian Goiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdemar Koehler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eusébio Barral hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Jacu defense, Matheus Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Koehler. The Jacu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Koehler should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilian Goiano to make the kick off. In the 54th play minute Aloísio Luz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dorival Quintal. 3-1. Aloísio Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Wilian Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the game, A.J. City's Matheus Mendes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 93 minutes into the match, Matheus Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdemar Koehler. Jacu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jacu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.J. City.
