Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doriva Baiano kicked off to start the match. Ricardinho Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Dé Gomes sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Barral in the 24th minute of play forced Cachos's goalkeeper Edgar Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Cachos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Noel Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Oséas Vergílio shot from a long distance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Barral in the 36th minute of play forced Cachos's goalkeeper Edgar Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Tiago Gabriel de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Esporte Clube Comercial booed when Cachos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osmar Santos was the one to do the kick off. Belmiro Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Leandro Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dé Gomes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardinho Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Duarte Sarmento hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Comercial's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Baiano came free, but Ricardinho Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Edgar Loureiro managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Esporte Clube Comercial's Belmiro Barral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 92 minutes, Osmar Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esporte Clube Comercial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belmiro Barral took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Loureiro. Edgar Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The supporters of Cachos booed when Esporte Clube Comercial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 100th match minute, Cachos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Cachos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
