Mümin Oral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Régis Moura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Galatius's Durval da Mata got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Mümin Oral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Boludos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mümin Oral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Atlético Boludos's Mattias Hökkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Régis Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Régis Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Hökkvist in the 14th minute of play. Atlético Boludos's Mattias Hökkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Boludos's Mümin Oral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Régis Moura. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Régis Moura was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Mümin Oral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mümin Oral really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Régis Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Hökkvist in the 25th minute of the match. Mümin Oral scored 4-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Régis Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mümin Oral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 played minutes, Galatius's Nelson Torres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Róbson Aguiar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galatius reached it. Régis Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümin Oral, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Mattias Hökkvist's late challenge caught a Galatius's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Hökkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Galatius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval da Mata to maneuver through the defense. Mümin Oral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Moura having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kléber Novaes to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Mümin Oral sped through Galatius's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Régis Moura. Régis Moura came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Boludos's Luisinho Tepedino. But to his dismay, Luisinho Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Ronaldinho Maciel's late challenge caught a Atlético Boludos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldinho Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Galatius's Ronaldinho Maciel got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Mümin Oral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mümin Oral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Régis Moura having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Galatius's zone, Mattias Hökkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Moura came out of the goal and Mattias Hökkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Mümin Oral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Régis Moura was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Mümin Oral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Régis Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Mattias Hökkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Régis Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mümin Oral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mattias Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Moura having to interfere. Mümin Oral might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Régis Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mümin Oral ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mümin Oral came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Atlético Boludos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mümin Oral couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Galatius's zone, Roch Zatorski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Moura came out of the goal and Roch Zatorski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Régis Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümin Oral, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
