Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Marcinho Toscano made the kick off and thus started the match. João Augusto Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Boston Garden's zone, Marcinho Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Branco came out of the goal and Marcinho Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telmo Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Branco having to interfere. Telmo Correia scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarbas Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarbas Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Toscano in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Boston Garden's zone, Antônio Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Branco came out of the goal and Antônio Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antônio Pires during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Barreirinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Pires. Lance Porter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Terra in the 34th minute of play. Marcinho Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jarbas Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Boston Garden's Jarbas Branco got control of the ball when Telmo Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barreirinha FC's Telmo Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Barreirinha FC's Diego Medeiros got a free kick in the 45th minute.

56 minutes into the match, Boston Garden's João Augusto Terra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lance Porter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Diego Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarbas Branco came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Barreirinha FC's Marcinho Toscano. But to his dismay, Marcinho Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Telmo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Telmo Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarbas Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Telmo Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 73 in the game by João Augusto Terra from a close distance when the talented Lance Porter managed to make a qualified save. Barreirinha FC's players were relieved. Jarbas Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Toscano in the 79th minute of the match. Marcinho Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boston Garden's Jarbas Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Correia in the 88th minute of play. Marcinho Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jarbas Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Barreirinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Britto came free, but Lance Porter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barreirinha FC had played much better football throughout.
