In the 18th minute, Clube Atlético Lençoense's Caco de Senna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Franklin Guerra. Franklin Guerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Cléberson Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Franklin Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Cléberson Vander took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Franklin Guerra to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th minute, Jeremias de Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubinho Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 32nd match minute, Clube Atlético Lençoense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Vander to maneuver through the defense. Franklin Guerra made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Iuri Capixaba sent off a good shot on target. Nando Silveira, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when César Marinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franklin Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Capixaba in the 55th minute of the match. Rubinho Negri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valério Nogueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 59 minute of play.
