When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antônio Carlos Andrade made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Carlos Andrade in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rubinho Negri saved Clube Atlético Lençoense from getting behind. In the 85th minute, one of BRAGA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BRAGA. The referee gave Clube Atlético Lençoense a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nando Silveira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BRAGA's Rich Russell. 2-2.
