But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Camargo couldn't finish the play. Benjamim Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Zé Carlos Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manfredo Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Camargo in the 14th minute of play. João Vítor Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Manfredo Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Camargo in the 42nd minute. Benjamim Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Betão Freitas to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Senna during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernardo Senna hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Hélder da Rocha's late challenge caught a Time de Futebol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder da Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Time de Futebol a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Osvaldinho Nóbrega, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Butio's Manfredo Teixeira. 1-0. In the 60th minute, Laércio Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Laércio Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca Messias hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Time de Futebol's Osvaldinho Nóbrega tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Butio's Manfredo Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Camargo in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jorge Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Time de Futebol's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Camargo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfredo Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Custódio in the 73rd minute of play forced Butio's goalkeeper Manfredo Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfredo Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Jorge Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamim Donatello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Zé Carlos Soares made a huge save. In the 86th minute João Vítor Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfredo Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Amílton Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Butio's protests and gave Amílton Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Butio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Tróia to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Butio's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Custódio came free, but Manfredo Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Jorge Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfredo Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Butio's Amílton Tróia got a free kick in the 98th minute. Time de Futebol were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Butio for a fine match.
