Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Atlético BR's Raphael Fonseca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Crobas FC's goalkeeper Willian Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Pedro Pires during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Crobas FC's Zé Pedro Pires got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Secco in the 23rd minute of play forced Atlético BR's goalkeeper Kaká Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serginho Secco in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaká Pinheiro saved Atlético BR from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Rosado in the 31st minute of play forced Atlético BR's goalkeeper Kaká Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fabiano Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Willian Vale. Crobas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 38th minute, Serginho Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Laércio Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Serginho Secco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crobas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Váldson Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Atlético BR's Diguinho Maranhense got a free kick in the 46th minute. Serginho Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Crobas FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serginho Secco was the one to do the kick off. Atlético BR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Serginho Secco scored to the left of an out of position Kaká Pinheiro, making the score, 0-2. 1-2 became the score in the 62nd minute when Raphael Fonseca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Márcio Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serginho Secco in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaká Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Crobas FC's zone, Márcio Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Vale came out of the goal and Márcio Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Serginho Secco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kaká Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Secco in the 89th minute of the match. Serginho Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Crobas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlético BR.
