With a little luck, Borussia Juniors's Giovani Penha got control of the ball when Cacá Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Borussia Juniors's Giovani Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Leme in the 34th minute of play. Giovani Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The wind increased when Erik Tavares made the kick off in the second half. Fyde-FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Manuel Melo scored to the left of an out of position Betão Donato, making the score, 0-1. After 59 played minutes Fyde-FC got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Dias. After 61 minutes, João Carlos de Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Juniors and the Fyde-FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Carlos de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson Dias couldn't finish the play. Sebastião Macedo scored 1-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovani Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Sebastião Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
