It was a penalty for Lentilha FC! When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, Clube Atlético Pr's Sandrinho Abreu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luís Fabiano Guedes. Hernani Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Luís Fabiano Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zé Roberto Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Clube Atlético Pr booed when Lentilha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandrinho Abreu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Fabiano Guedes. Lentilha FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Adrianinho Velloso fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lentilha FC's protests and gave Adrianinho Velloso a yellow card for diving instead. Cesinha Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Murilo Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Sandrinho Abreu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match Bruno Abraão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Roberto Donatello showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Lentilha FC's Juarês Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Roberto Donatello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute of the match Nilton Bittencourt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fabiano Guedes skillfully saved the ball. Luís Fabiano Guedes made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Cesinha Macedo sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Alberto Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Alberto Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Lentilha FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Travassos. Luís Fabiano Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe de Souza in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juarês Mello made a kick off. Hernani Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Luís Fabiano Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Hernani Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dagoberto Palmeira's late challenge caught a Lentilha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dagoberto Palmeira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Pr's Dagoberto Palmeira got a free kick in the 58th minute. A long shot from Bruno Abraão in the 59th minute of play was well struck, but Zé Roberto Donatello made a really good save at the right post. If Hernani Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes, Sandrinho Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Pr and the Lentilha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sandrinho Abreu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Hernani Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Lentilha FC booed when Clube Atlético Pr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Roberto Donatello was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bruno Abraão. Lentilha FC's Luís Fabiano Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Coelho in the 88th minute of play. Clube Atlético Pr's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
