Spectators: 7167 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 90) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hernani Coelho started the match with the kick off. Cesinha Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Teixeira having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Butio's Ramiro Queirós got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Hernani Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manfredo Teixeira was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Atlético Pr's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Donatello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Betão Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Donatello having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Fellipe de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Butio's Benjamim Donatello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Roberto Donatello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Roberto Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, Betão Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Butio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betão Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Betão Freitas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Roberto Donatello was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Genílson Vergílio's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Pr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genílson Vergílio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Butio getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Genílson Vergílio hit a great ball. Sandrinho Abreu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Hernani Coelho took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Manfredo Teixeira to make any attempt to save it. Zé Roberto Donatello came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Butio's Benjamim Donatello. But to his dismay, Benjamim Donatello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Freitas in the 72nd minute of play forced Clube Atlético Pr's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Messias's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Pr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuca Messias helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Butio! The referee gave Clube Atlético Pr a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sandrinho Abreu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Butio's Manfredo Teixeira. 2-2. Betão Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesinha Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Manfredo Teixeira made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Ramiro Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernani Coelho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manfredo Teixeira came out and tried to block the shot, but Hernani Coelho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 97th minute. The Clube Atlético Pr players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
