Eriberto Sousa scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Fabiano Guedes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Juninho Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Faustão Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Mello was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Lentilha FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. When the referee ended the match the Koepsel EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
