Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raphael Fonseca kicked off to start the match. Raphael Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th play minute Cássio Santana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kaká Pinheiro. 1-0. Raphael Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juarês Aparecido's late challenge caught a Tricolor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juarês Aparecido helped the player get up and apologised. 23 minutes into the match, Eriberto Santana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kaká Pinheiro, 2-0. Diogo do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Eriberto Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaká Pinheiro having to make a save. Kaká Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Santana in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Cássio Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tricolor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cássio Santana came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tricolor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Santana couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Atlético BR's Afonso Jacinto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Afonso Jacinto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlético BR protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Afonso Jacinto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 40th minute, one of Atlético BR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atlético BR. Luisinho Souto did an outstanding performance 43 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-0 to the right of an irritated Kaká Pinheiro in the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Cássio Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tricolor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Santana to make the kick off. Kaká Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tricolor's Eriberto Santana. But to his dismay, Eriberto Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Kaká Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Kaká Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Santana in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Bruno Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Atlético BR's Diguinho Maranhense got a free kick in the 67th minute. Cássio Santana struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Kaká Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tricolor. When Tricolor's Eriberto Santana in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético BR's goalie prevented a goal. Eriberto Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Kaká Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Santana in the 88th minute of play forced Atlético BR's goalkeeper Kaká Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Eriberto Santana made a precise shot to the right of Kaká Pinheiro. Atlético BR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tricolor fully deserved thier win.
