Edgar de Azevedo's late challenge caught a Lentilha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar de Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tesoura's Edgar de Azevedo got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Sandro de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tesoura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro de Lara couldn't finish the play. Baba Figo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro de Lara scored 3-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Fabiano Guedes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ediberto Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lentilha FC's zone, Ediberto Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fabiano Guedes came out of the goal and Ediberto Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juninho Bastos was the one to do the kick off. When Tesoura's Sandro de Lara in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lentilha FC's goalie prevented a goal. 55 minutes into the game, Tesoura's Ediberto Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fabiano Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ediberto Peres went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 98th minute, Richard Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tesoura had played much better football throughout.
