Dedos Mágicos FC's Jairo Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beto Zonta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hílton Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Pussy got a freekick which was hit by Betão Cunha. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto Zonta to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Dedos Mágicos FC got a freekick which was hit by Beto Zonta. Beto Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Pussy booed when Dedos Mágicos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pussy's Hílton Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Pussy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Tinoco in the 64th minute of play forced Dedos Mágicos FC's goalkeeper Albertinho Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pussy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hílton Torres should have stopped the shot. Ademar Mineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ademar Mineiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pussy getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ademar Mineiro hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio Leite during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Jânio Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Beto Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Dedos Mágicos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Zonta couldn't finish the play. Pussy's Ademar Mineiro got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Ademar Mineiro off the ground. In the 88th minute, Ademar Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Dedos Mágicos FC's Felippe Baptista stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Hílton Torres stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Pussy of the goal.
