In the 16th minute, Adalberto Couto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hílton Torres. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Expresso Antares FC's Hélder Hoffmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Expresso Antares FC's Pedro Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Ademar Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 41 minutes on the clock, Paulo José Paulista commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Pussy getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Paulo José Paulista hit a great ball. Hílton Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Rocha in the 46th minute. Hélder Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Torres having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Gabriel Tinoco was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Expresso Antares FC's Adalberto Couto made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hílton Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute, Pedro Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Hílton Torres. Pussy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pussy's zone, Pedro Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Torres came out of the goal and Pedro Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Hélder Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Bebeto Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Expresso Antares FC booed when Pussy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes, Hélder Hoffmann made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pussy's Hílton Torres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hílton Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Rocha in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pussy's zone, Hélder Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Torres came out of the goal and Hélder Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hílton Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hílton Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Rocha went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Pussy's Tiago Gabriel Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
