The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luan Soeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademar Quadros in the 8th minute. With a little luck, Predadores da Bola's Luan Soeiro got control of the ball when Ademar Quadros tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Percival Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílton Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílton Lara came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Predadores da Bola's Percival Prado. But to his dismay, Percival Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alberto Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amílton Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Predadores da Bola's Luan Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Negri in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Hélder Hoffmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luan Soeiro, 1-1. Luan Soeiro stood somewhat misplaced when Hélder Hoffmann came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 43 minute. Hélder Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Expresso Antares FC's Amílton Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Expresso Antares FC from getting a goal against them. If Luizão Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Predadores da Bola's zone, Hélder Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Soeiro came out of the goal and Hélder Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When João Augusto Negri came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Expresso Antares FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Augusto Negri couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Hélder Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luan Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Negri in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Predadores da Bola's Percival Prado got a free kick in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Hélder Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luan Soeiro. Predadores da Bola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélder Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 79th minute, Hélder Hoffmann made a precise shot to the right of Luan Soeiro. Predadores da Bola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in Predadores da Bola's zone, Hélder Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Soeiro came out of the goal and Hélder Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Augusto Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Soeiro having to interfere. If João Augusto Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Percival Prado struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Amílton Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Predadores da Bola. Amílton Lara made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Alberto Quirino sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Expresso Antares FC fully deserved thier win.
