The supporters of C R Flamengo booed when Predadores da Bola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Valdir Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Alberto Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Predadores da Bola's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deivid Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Soeiro having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Deivid Cerezo made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Renato Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
