Jeferson Lopes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clóvis de Senna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. The Cascatinha United fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Cascatinha United's Clóvis de Senna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 68 played minutes, Cascatinha United's Abelardo Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeferson Lopes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cascatinha United reached it. Clóvis de Senna struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jeferson Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascatinha United. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clóvis de Senna in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeferson Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilmar Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jeferson Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Clóvis de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85thth minute of the game Clóvis de Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but União Futebol e Cerveja's Jeferson Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Cascatinha United's Clóvis de Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeferson Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeferson Lopes came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Cascatinha United's Jardel Trevisan. But to his dismay, Jardel Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. If Eugênio Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Nascimento during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
