One of Favela SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Annapolis SC:s goal. In the 70th match minute, Annapolis SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Favela SC's Décio Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Barros in the 74th minute of play. Décio Esteves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The Favela SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Annapolis SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
