An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Pontes in the 52nd minute of play forced União Futebol e Cerveja's goalkeeper Jeferson Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Alan Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. União Futebol e Cerveja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EC Marotagem the free kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
