Jeremias Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. Conrado Ceresso made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Luizinho Zonta sent off a good shot on target. Otávio Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizinho Zonta might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luizinho Zonta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute of the match, Jeremias Machado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Conrado Ceresso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 20th minute, João Francisco Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Ernesto Paulista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC CORINTHIANS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tucandera the free kick. After 21 played minutes SC CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Paulista. In the 24th minute, Otávio Quintal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Machado in the 54th minute of play forced Tucandera's goalkeeper Conrado Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, SC CORINTHIANS's Jeremias Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Ceresso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Luizinho Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC CORINTHIANS's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizinho Zonta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Ceresso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jeremias Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
