Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guga Gerber took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armandinho Vergílio in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kiko Proença came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Petunia EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Proença couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Leonel Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leonardo Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 19 played minutes El Barco Pirata got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho de Azevedo. 26 minutes into the game, Jorginho de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Barco Pirata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petunia EC the free kick. After 27 played minutes El Barco Pirata got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho de Azevedo. A collision led to El Barco Pirata getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jorginho de Azevedo hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Petunia EC were awarded a corner. Horácio Maia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Petunia EC's Horácio Maia to fire away a dangerous shot which Luís Gustavo Valle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Barco Pirata's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horácio Maia was slow to take the kick. During this time Petunia EC's players had a chance to rest. Ademir Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Leonel Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Barco Pirata and the Petunia EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to El Barco Pirata getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Leonel Madureira hit a great ball. Kiko Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Maia during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Petunia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Maia to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Saldanha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eusébio de Toledo. Luís Gustavo Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guga Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Saldanha having to interfere. If Armandinho Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiko Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Luís Gustavo Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armandinho Vergílio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Luís Gustavo Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petunia EC. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Kiko Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petunia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiko Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Gustavo Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the game, Matheus Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Barco Pirata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petunia EC the free kick. A collision led to El Barco Pirata getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Matheus Torres hit a great ball. Luís Gustavo Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Vergílio in the 82nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Armandinho Vergílio sped through El Barco Pirata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Gustavo Valle. Armandinho Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Petunia EC's Virgílio Figueiredo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Kiko Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Valle having to interfere.
