Spectators: 6488 (Terracing: 5488, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudinei Siqueira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Yan Viana came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Tucandera's João Francisco Guedes. But to his dismay, João Francisco Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Nordic Team booed when Tucandera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudinei Siqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinei Siqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Zeca do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nordic Team's Claudinei Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Geovani Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Siqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Ceresso having to make a save. A collision led to Tucandera getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ulisses da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Claudinei Siqueira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 38 minutes, Geovani Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nordic Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinei Siqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Conrado Ceresso made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Guedes in the 41st minute of play forced Nordic Team's goalkeeper Yan Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovani Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Conrado Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nordic Team's Yan Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Guedes in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, João Francisco Guedes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tucandera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Thanks to some nice moves João Francisco Guedes could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Yan Viana however easily saved by the left post. If Edgar Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivaldo Proença charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vivaldo Proença the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Nordic Team got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Rossi. Conrado Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinei Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Claudinei Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nordic Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Ceresso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Claudinei Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Nordic Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Siqueira couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute of the match Adilson Baiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Ceresso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Claudinei Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Ceresso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Claudinei Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Ceresso having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Nordic Team failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
