André Luiz Leite scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho de Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iracema FC's Claudinho de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Guedes in the 26th minute of play. Claudinho de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otávio Quintal's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to Iracema FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Oscar de Andrade hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otávio Quintal in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Francisco Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho de Medeiros having to interfere. Guga Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Conrado Ceresso made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Silveira was the one to do the kick off. Conrado Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Silveira in the 52nd minute of play. Guga Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Ceresso having to interfere. Cristian Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Conrado Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Furtado in the 60th minute of the match. Thomás Teles's late challenge caught a Tucandera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomás Teles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rdth minute of the game Cristian Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tucandera's Conrado Ceresso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Iracema FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tucandera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
