An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Maia in the 17th minute of play forced Nordic Team's goalkeeper Yan Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nordic Team's Yan Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiko Proença in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Geovani Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nordic Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petunia EC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nordic Team's Geovani Rossi got a free kick in the 20th minute. Yan Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With an all-out effort, Nordic Team's Leonardo Saldanha threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeca do Valle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Nordic Team getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adilson Baiano hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Petunia EC's Horácio Maia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 32nd match minute, Nordic Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Armandinho Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Yan Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yan Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Yan Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Vergílio in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes Nordic Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Horácio Maia who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Nordic Team's Adilson Baiano got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Siqueira in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Saldanha saved Petunia EC from getting behind. Yan Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Vergílio in the 78th minute of the match. Geovani Rossi got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Nordic Team getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Geovani Rossi hit a great ball. Yan Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
