Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Silveira made the kick off and thus started the match. Iracema FC's Claudinho de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho Vergílio in the 4th minute of play. Guga Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiko Proença struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Claudinho de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petunia EC. When Iracema FC's Cristian Silveira in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Petunia EC's goalie prevented a goal. After 19 played minutes Petunia EC got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Figueiredo. After 24 played minutes Iracema FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorian de Lima. The supporters of Petunia EC booed when Iracema FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29th play minutes Kiko Proença shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Claudinho de Medeiros and just under the crossbar into goal. Kiko Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Carlos Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Guga Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Leonardo Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armandinho Vergílio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Petunia EC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Tinoco. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Kiko Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petunia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiko Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kiko Proença struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kiko Proença in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho de Medeiros saved Iracema FC from getting behind. Claudinho de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus de Almeida in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Kiko Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petunia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiko Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After having played for 80 minutes, Kiko Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petunia EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiko Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinho de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiko Proença's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Petunia EC's Ademir Bertassi got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 89 minutes, Kiko Proença made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Iracema FC's Claudinho de Medeiros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudinho de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Proença in the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Petunia EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
