The referee ignored Arary SS's protests and gave Zé Augusto Barros a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Arary SS's Zé Augusto Barros got a free kick in the 41st minute. Betinho Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho da Costa in the 43rd minute of play. If Zé Augusto Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrício Linhares was the one to do the kick off. Arary SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Valdo Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Zé Augusto Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Didi Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fabiano Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrício Linhares's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the INTZ E-Sports players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arary SS.
