Dorian Dantas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 13th minute of the match, Tiago Vides tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hernani Ramos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Luís Guilherme Luz came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the R10 SOCCER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Guilherme Luz couldn't finish the play. Hernani Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorian Dantas went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorian Dantas made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Róbson do Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nascimento's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave R10 SOCCER the free kick. The supporters of R10 SOCCER booed when Nascimento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, R10 SOCCER's goal looked a bit too open when André Matos came free, but Hernani Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, R10 SOCCER's Luís Guilherme Luz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Fernando Rosa. Luiz Fernando Rosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. R10 SOCCER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Guilherme Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over R10 SOCCER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nascimento throughout the match.
